The National Renderers Association is committed to giving back to our community. This year, we’ll be hosting our third annual charity auction, Rendering for Good, to raise funds for Canine Companions for Independence (CCI). CCI provides highly-trained assistance dogs to people with disabilities. Through CCI’s Wounded Veterans Initiative, veterans with physical disabilities such as hearing loss, limb amputations and spinal cord injuries are served. We are pleased to report that during last year’s convention, we raised over $25,000 specifically for service dogs for wounded veterans. We hope to surpass that amount this year.
During NRA’s 83rd Annual Convention, Jesus Sanchez and his companion animal, Nordy, demonstrated how they work together.
“I thought that this was a great idea and made the whole event more interesting. Great choice of charity for an industry that supports the pet food folks.”
