Visit a beautiful nature preserve…a habitat for thousands of migrating birds coming from Alaska, Canada & the Aleutian Islands. Observe seals and sea lions up close. You’ll see two to three different species that live in our oceans in Orange County and learn about all the local marine mammals. Next, you’ll go to the seal and sea lion rescue center for an opportunity few locals have experienced…a behind the scenes tour in the hospital and rehabilitation center where pups are nursed to health. From there you will be taken to a beautiful beach cove, a habitat for many wildlife, and experience what the “California Riviera” is all about. You’re almost certain to catch a glimpse of dolphin pods and even whales depending on the migration pattern. This is an amazing opportunity to learn and experience the best of southern California.
Suggested Attire
We recommend “California casual” attire and a light jacket. Recommended footwear is tennis shoes or sneakers; not flip flops.

The versatile sarong is a great fashion accessory, and you may choose your own color palette to accessorize your personal wardrobe. Our artist will walk you through all the steps, assist you with color mixing, and show you how to achieve the proper techniques. She is a seasoned silk painter, a full-time artist, and an excellent teacher.
